History
First Citizens Mortgage Corporation was incorporated in 1969. We were founding members of the Mortgage Brokers Association of BC. Currently, we are members in good standing of the Mortgage Lenders Association of BC. Mandate First Citizens were quick to realize that not all applicants qualified for approval with the 'A' lenders such as banks, trust companies and credit unions. Accordingly we have established an alternative or 'B' program as a service to those clients that the Tier I lenders cannot accommodate. We pride ourselves in putting the required funds to work for you in the most efficient way. Overview Assume that there are two (2) categories of mortgages - in both the residential and commercial fields. These categories are known in the trade as 'A's and 'B's. Simply put, the 'A' deals attract funds from conventional sources and the 'B' deals require the participation of our private, and semi-private lenders.
